Book!

The sometimes overwhelming world of children's literature can be hard to navigate at times. There are so many different categories and options that often times finding the perfect story becomes a chore and, we tend to turn to the easier option the TV. So when I come across a good book I feel the obligation to share it with the world and maybe others can find the same enjoyment.

The newest gem that me and Maddy came across is "Book!" by Kristine O'Connell George and illustrated by Maggie Smith. This book is appealing from cover to cover with wonderful illustrations and nice easy text. Book! tells the story of a young child receiving a gift of a book and his reactions.

I loved this book me and Maddy have probably read it about ten times. This book would be a great addition to any library program or classroom story time involving younger kids.
